This week, it’s pretty straight-forward. This TED Talk is about your body, and your Impostors. I’ll let Amy Cuddy take it away!

So when I tell people about this, that our bodies change our minds and our minds can change our behavior, and our behavior can change our outcomes, they say to me, “I don’t — It feels fake.” Right? So I said, fake it till you make it. I don’t — It’s not me. I don’t want to get there and then still feel like a fraud. I don’t want to feel like an impostor. I don’t want to get there only to feel like I’m not supposed to be here. And that really resonated with me, because I want to tell you a little story about being an impostor and feeling like I’m not supposed to be here.
But as Ms. Cuddy goes on to say, it’s important to play that “Impostor role,” and that it can actually transform the way you interact with the world and yourself! The way that we carry ourselves and practice certain postures and actions shapes who we are. So how could you allow your Impostors to transform YOUR life?
Take the Impostor Quiz to figure out your dominant Impostor. Come up with three times that your Impostor has derailed your life. Then, come up with three ways that you could use your Impostor to better your life. You’re stuck with them – they’re part of what makes you unique, so get creative! Learn to harness them and put them to work!
